Can - Soundtracks (Germany 1970)

Can earned commissions recording music for several obscure independent German films between 1969 and 1970.
Soundtracks catches the band in a moment of transition - they have just been left by Mooney, so the album is a mixed bag, featuring Malcolm on two of the cuts and the new vocalist, the famous Japanese busker Damo Suzuki. What's so incredibly fascinating about all of these tracks is how excellently they manage to combine experimentation, innovativeness and weird sound textures. There are beautiful melodies all over the place and
the undisputed highlight of the album is the great 15-minute jam "Mother Sky." It is just amazing.

Tracks:
1. Deadlock — 3:25
2. Tango Whiskyman — 4:02
3. Deadlock — 1:40
4. "Don't turn the Light on," leave me alone — 3:42
5. Soul Desert — 3:46
6. Mother Sky — 14:30
7. She brings the Rain — 4:04

Enjoy ! ! !

1. Mother Sky ( 14:30)
